Static Roof Ventilation

The 50% opening capacity of the multispan and bitunnel roof is a unique feature of the larger Highbank greenhouse. This ventilation includes an automated system maximizing all the performance factors of the greenhouse. Opening the vent increases the internal volume of the greenhouse for the constant circulation of air to be controlled.

  • Position- The roof top vent is positioned hinged at the ridge of the greenhouse.
  • Shape- The roof top vent opens higher than the ridge.
  • Size – The roof top vent opens 50% of the ground area.
  • Opening the vent- increases the internal volume of the greenhouse for the constant circulation of air to be controlled.
  • The Roof top vent along with the curved arch shape of the multispan lead to condensation run-off towards the gutter not onto plants.
  • The vent structure is 60 × 35mm rectangular tubing and is operated by 32 × 2.5mm control tube and racking device.
  • Controls can be manual or motor driven and controlled by a programming system and thermostat.
  • Insect netting can be added.
  • There is an option of a computer managed climate systems.
