World’s First ZERO KM Dinner at Macreddin Village – Wicklow County

On Thursday 5thOctober 2017, The Brooklodge & Macreddin Village hosted a unique dinner for 100 lucky guests who experienced something never achieved before!

Evan Doyle, The Kitchen Brigade and The Crew at Macreddin Village were knee deep in preparation since August 2016 for the World’s First ZER0KM Dinner .
Absolutely every tiny morsel served on this ONE NIGHT, for this ONE DINNER was reared, grown (using Highbank Tunnels) and harvested within ONE KILOMETRE of their kitchen.
This tall order brought about some challenges and the team at the Brooklodge depended on the advice, guidance, expertise and knowledge of their farmer and producer friends throughout the journey to assist and help towards achieving the best harvest for what was a fabulous unique 15 course ZER0KM Dinner. http://www.guides.ie/megabites/zerokm-dinner-macreddin
